Dental magnification is the process of magnifying microscopic oral structures like gum tissues using microscopes, dental loupes, and other solutions. On the other hand, microscope-enhanced dentistry focuses only on microscope use cases in dental practices.


Although microscopes are a must-have instrument in dentistry, they have a few limitations. For starters, higher magnification levels can reduce the width and depth of the field.
