The patient initially presented with a number of dental issues including unmatching dental crowns, uneven gum lines, gaps between teeth, and a traumatic bite that had been causing trauma to his molars. Acknowledging the need for a comprehensive treatment plan, we formulated a robust strategy involving a range of restorative procedures to rejuvenate the patient’s oral health and aesthetics.

The treatment journey began with a thorough dental cleaning to eliminate any potential infection sources and create a healthy environment for further procedures. Crown lengthening was performed to correct the uneven gum lines, thereby harmonizing the patient’s smile.
The voids left by missing teeth were addressed through dental implants, which, coupled with implant-supported screw-retained crowns, functioned as perfect substitutes for natural teeth. In areas where multiple teeth were missing, dental bridges were utilized to restore continuity and function.
For enhancing the aesthetics and strength of existing teeth, dental veneers, crowns, and onlays were provided. These not only improved the appearance of the teeth but also provided structural integrity.

Of special note is our use of monolithic porcelain restorations in this case. Unlike traditional layered porcelain restorations, monolithic restorations are fabricated from a single block of porcelain. This allows them to provide superior strength and resistance to fractures. They also offer excellent aesthetic outcomes, given the wide range of available shades that allow us to match the patient’s natural tooth color accurately.
In order to ensure the best possible result for our patient, we employed the state-of-the-art Digital Smile Design (DSD) technique. This advanced technology allowed us to digitally plan the entire treatment process, from the initial diagnostic stages to the final outcome. It not only served as a quality control mechanism but also enabled the patient to visualize the expected outcome, fostering a shared decision-making process.

The clinical impressions were captured by Dr. Johnson himself using the PrimeScan intraoral scanner.
